So What Is DUBTurbo ?
DUBTurbo is a software program that is basically a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), it features everything that you need to
make sick rap beats, hot dance tunes, R&B tracks you name it, you can do it with Dub Turbo! It also offers studio quality sound, a 16-track sequencer, drum machine, keyboard kit, and over 2400 studio made samples, sound kits, and a bunch more features.
To get the kind of equipment to make the sort of music you hear in the chart topping tracks you would need to spend $50,000+ easy and then you would only have a basic-mid level recording studio.
So this software program caters for people that are looking for an easy and fast way to start making thier own beats & music, without the hassle of having to learn music theory, production in expensive schools, or have to invest in a expensive studio.. . ..

About Me
I started creating my own beats on my home computer about 3 years ago. I wasn’t trying to go anywhere with it, I was just trying to recreate some of the sounds I missed from the old school hip-hop made during the 90’s! After awhile, I tried to start creating my own stuff. I used every free software program I could get my hands on at first, but all of them were pretty bad (Jamstudio was alright, but lacked a lot of features and the usability was not great).so i looked for a paid program and came across DUBTurbo which felt a million times better than the free programs, with a really friendly user interface it didn’t take me long to get started.
Once I had finished my track, I could export it in CD quality, and save the original DUBTurbo file as well so I could go back and edit it later if I wanted.

One interesting part of the program is that it comes with a guide on how to sell the music you make. Now I know the music industry is in crisis and all that, but there is a whole sub-market for independently made loops and tracks that get used on websites, radio and tv ads, in video games, and so on.
I followed the instructions and put my newly created track on a website, and to my amazement somebody bought it! Don’t get too excited, I sold it for just $1.25, of which I got to keep $1. But still, if you make a lot of tracks, and do a bit of promotion, I can see that DUBTurbo has some money making potential.
The DUBTurbo Tutorial Videos Show You What To Do:
There are training videos that you can access right from the program. You can watch and replicate exactly what the videos are teaching you, which is great for people who have never created beats before.
These DUBTurbo videos also give you a great introduction to what the main features of the program and how to actually use the software. You can watch and learn very quickly, and you will not get lost trying to search for what you want to do next.
Main Interface Of DUBTurbo
Here is where all the magic happens! An easy to use point and click interface and you can even use your keyboard to control the software (trigger sounds, play keys/drum pads, and lot’s of shortcuts to navigate easily without having to click all the time – for a producer this is important during their production session).
Don’t think that because it’s easy to use it can’t be powerful – You wait until you hear this baby in action!
The main features of DUBTurbo are 16 tracks to lay down sounds – either drums, keys, or mic. A fully functioning four octave keyboard to do bass rhythms, chords, or anything you want. Also has a drum machine sequencer with 10 pads, and the best thing is that you can edit each individual sound and even import your own.
Conclusion
Is DUBTurbo any good? Well from my point of view (an amateur who wants to make music but doesn’t really know how), then I’d have to say yes. It’s given me hours and hours of pleasure.
The DUBTurbo program is a delight to use, well laid out, and well documented. The fact you could potentially make some money from it is a nice bonus, but not a reason in itself to buy it.
Speaking of buying, DUBTurbo at the time I am writing this is selling at just under $30. At that price, I think it’s a bit of a steal. I hope you found my DUBTurbo review site helpful
